Summary of story
Once upon a time, there was a family who faced tough times during a period called the Great Depression. It was really hard for them to make ends meet. The mom felt so sad that she even thought about ending her life because things seemed hopeless.
But then something amazing happened. She looked at her daughters, who were always there for her, even though they didn't have much themselves. She realized that if she could count on her daughters' love, maybe she could also count on God's love.
So, she prayed to God, telling Him that she would trust Him with everything. And guess what? Things started to change! Her husband found a temporary job, and she decided to go back to school to become a teacher.
With God's help, her husband eventually got a permanent job, and she became a real teacher! And when her husband retired and they had enough money to live on, she knew it was all because of God's strength helping them through the tough times.
So, the moral of the story is, even when things seem really hard, if you trust in God and ask for His help, He can make amazing things happen, just like He did for this family during the Great Depression.
